When I switched from Allstate to GEICO my premium dropped ~40%. AND it included raising the liability, trailer value and agreed value on the boat. My GEICO policy is underwritten by Seaworthy...

I had allstate for years, last 3 renewals have all had increases, this year I'm switching just got my quote back saving over 100 bucks and saving 50 bucks if i add my trailer which i never had before, allstate have everything,, house~boat my last 7 renewals have had increases, ZERO claims, bye mid summer I will have everything pulled from them

You can't compare what others have to what you are offered. Millions of variables. Shop around, get a couple quotes with simiilarl coverage.

I also recommend Stacey with Wakezone.

It's apples and oranges and if you will look at your policy closely I would bet you have a couple big differences between the policies. Also I don't know anyone who has had a claim but paying your premium is one thing and getting them to pay you when there is a problem is another all together. READ THE FINE PRINT!

I have read policies that "don't have wind coverage" Hurrican I get but what about a tornado or thunderstorm knocking down a tree.. you would be screwed... What about uninsured boater, etc... Like others have said there are a million factors. Call Sy at Total Dollar or another carrier that does performance boats!
