Default vacation

Upper Chesapeake Bay is great, plenty of places to stay and eat. Good entertainment, great food plenty of places to throw out the hook and just spent the day swimming and eating, Head back to what ever marina you are staying at, get showered up and have a nice dinner. Skipjack Marina in the Sassafras River has great shower facilities dining and a pool. You have the Chesapeake Inn, the Nauti Goose, Jelli Fish Joels, Red Eyes, and the Baltimore Inner Harbor just to name a few. I would not even think of Lake Norman, to many boats on the weekend and just to confining. Been there done that. Got pulled over by the local marine police because i had an out of state registration. Chesapeake Bay hands down. Coming this way, look me up and i will give you the tour. (Sam)

Another vote for the northern Chesapeake:

Artie, We are doing the NJPPC Atlantic City Poker Run on June 23/24, but will be around from Monday the 25th onwards. Even if we can't be on the Bay with you every day, we can certainly recommend an itinerary that will keep you constantly engaged with as much or little running around as you want to do. Do you have a chartplotter?

Thanks, Chuck. Might have to take you up on that! If we don't make it this trip I still want to make it down for a weekend this summer.

Looks like we are heading to Charlevoix! After the wife took one look at the visitor guide Wrinkleface sent us she was sold.

Thanks for all the other great suggestions, I really enjoy traveling with the boat, so we will make it to all of them someday!
