Also - The plan is to make Charlevoix municipal marina home base, is it safe to leave the rig at the launch? Or is there a storage option close by that wont break the bank?

Start in jax fla and take th icw all the way to miami. You can leave boat and trailer here and Ill drive down and pick you up at the end. Its something the wife and i always wanted to do. Just a crazy thought.

Awesome Dude, there is a trailer/truck parking area just a block from the launch, check w/ the launch attendent, he will give U a written card 2 put on the trailer winch when U get there & explain anything U have ?'s on!!! Look 4ward 2 C'n ya!!!

Ahh, good to see my hometown! I'll be looking on that same water starting next Tuesday! Sounds like you have a local source but if you need ANY info about the area dont hesitate to ask. Hal Evans is the Harbormaster, great guy.
