led lites for engine bay.

Default led lites for engine bay.

im thinking it would look good if i lit the engine bay up with led lites,has anyone done this,i think 12 volt rope lites would work great,i just don,t know where to find them.any info would be appreciated.

friend of mine just bought a bunch of these. Actually pretty nice and customizable on color and a bunch of affects. They are RGB modulated for color but it actually looks pretty good.

Mike, I have them in the bilge and the cockpit. I have a place you can order them from, or I can get them for you. You can change colors with the ones I have by pushing a button. I hooked Ryan up with a set last year for his bilge ....And yes, they look awesome.

go to optxmarine.com look at the 48" heavyduty strips there rated for high temp areas look at the picture of engine comparment on site or go to speedonthewater.com matt trulio just did an article on speed racer and LED lights there OPTX Marine LED's also i think the story is on oso also
