kenwood speakers

I have 4 kenwood KFC 1652 original speakers in cockpit and kenwood head and amp., in a 07 boat, want to upgrade stock amp to kicker 1252.
Would this work? i doen't want subs, speakers are rated for 150 watts
if anyone can help thanks.

how big is that amp in it not compared to what you want to put in it,,,,,,also pop out one of the speakers and see what its rated for rms and peak.
Kenwood Excelon series is nice, but sounds like you have standard sepakers in it now

It is not to big, infact it is to small. It's only 30 watts x 2. If I assume you are going to run all 4 speakers on the 2 channel amp you will be running it at 2ohm's. That would make the output 60 watts x 2 with speakers that would want 70 total. Thats if it gets 14.4 volts, at 13 volts typical power from electrical system it's even less power.
I would go with an amp that is atleast 50 watts x 4.

◦2 ohms: 60 watts x 2 chan.
