Beater boat ideas?

I picked up a 85 Baja Force 250 this year. It isn't bad, but I would qualify it as a beater boat. it has a 350, and a nice size cuddy (for when you need to go up font)
Although I don't expect 50+, 45 would be more realistic. I paid $3000, It needed a impeller in the alpha 1.

nice find for the money, that boat has some potential.

Good luck, I have been looking for about the same thing for a few years now and I am willing to go as small as 18ft for the right one. Just want something for the river to leave at the dock for when I get out there.

cosmic, there is a 22 chris stinger in upstate ny for about 6500. there is a 202 down in annapolis for 3 grand. check the for sale section of chriscraftstingers.com

buddy of mine. I know the drive is rebuilt, cant really attest to the condition or say its a good boat or not but I know he selling you can probably get him down a little more.
