I applaud OL for expanding their product line- up options; I appreciate offshore performance boatbuilders who are willing to try and garner new entry level (entry level for an OL), buyers to help create brand loyalty. This is a smart move with a proven product, the 29’. I wish them success

Mine is a 90mph boat, and performance is fine, but 100+ mph sure would have been GREAT!!!!!
This Outer Limits SV29 should be close to 100mph, if not over by a few with 300's.

The 400R is "horribly" heavy compared to the 300R. That is why I went with twin 300's on my 2750 LaveyCraft vs the 400's.

Speed is great but I guess Im just getting older now and its not as important. Off shore handling to me would be more important. Especially seeing some of these video's of boats getting pounded in rough water doing 50mph. 100 mph is great but how often are you doing it? I dont have a go fast boat so im more talking out of spectator stand point. I do have a big water back ground on sail boats but that hardly makes me qualified to be an expert.
