So The nada value on the boat is $13k But when I got my Ins. from my Local agent they Insured it for $19,500.So I got a check today for 12,500 to repair it.I paid $12,900 for it a year ago and 70hrs later! For the mechanical It needs a complete upper&lower Sterndrive the lower leaking oil and upper where the anrode blots up is broken and To fix the fiberglass and gal coat will all cost me around $4k,(My brother owns a Collision repair shop) I will be $4k in to it and $8k in my pocket!!!

How is this her fault? If you only have one engine, and it dies, you are at the mercy of the wind and waves, and rocks. It happens all the time.
