My initial thought is a speaker or subwoofer.

1/2 kilo of coke is my vote. The boat did come out of florida. Lol

I have something similar looking in my boat and I'm pretty sure it was for the electronic compass/heading sensor that I took out... is there an 8 pin (or so) harness that hooks up to it?

Nice job J!

Marvin is so upset he gets blamed for everything, he plans to destroy all of Macomb County!

OF COURSE, little he has ever planned has worked, so don't worry too much.

:eekdrop:

I would have swam to shore by the time that thing got wet!

I thought it was a flux capacitator too but it looks NOTHING like the one that runs my other toy!

I am thinking some sort of transponder? It IS an ex raceboat so maybe it was left behind after the rerig?

The cable that comes out of it looks like a beefier version of cable coax..

Looks like an electronic compass sensor I used to have.

Electronic Compass?

Maybe an electronic compass sender?

Sorry, should have looked at second page first, see others have already suggested it LOL
