Although the insurance would certainly kill the value proposition, I'd think an outboard cat would be the most efficient.

Outboards are out of the question and so are cats
I like to use my swim platform and I want a cuddy with sink, bed, toilet not that I'll use it but I need it around here so that I can carry alcohol and drink on it

Thanks

Friend of mine has the same set up and he got 2.5MPG at 3000 revs running the Emerald coast last week.
That seems very heavy on gas I would have assumed
That a baja 272 with a single big
Block would get 5mpg cruising maybe 2.5mpg all out
Since they are light
Thanks matt

4400 lbs is not light for a 27 footer, if u want economy get a pontoon, if want a performence boat step up to the pump.

Compared to a 27 fountain fever that weighs 5000lb it's lighter I'm just trying to figure out what I can get close to 5mpg as far as steping up to the pump my current boat has you covered at 1.4mpg but that's not what I'm trying to find out here I know how to burn gas just don't want to spend $200 for one trip in gas alone
Thanks matt

I don't think any boat will get any where near 5 mpg, the only fuel economy is keeping the testosterone level down and figuring out the boats best cruise and setting's otherwise pony up

3. 2x 454-502efi
