Doug, I'll ask my Dad about your Fountain. He grew up on Mary Street back in the twenties.

Boat Show - I was thinking of that, going down on the US and coming back in the Cdn - I'll check the chart about Wellsley but we'll see how much time we have or should I say, what time we drag our azzes out of bed. We want to take some time and tour the Castle and the boat house.

Phil - The 1920s, so you lived there too!!!

LOL!!!

I dont remember the Liberator, but, the Donzi looks familiar, I am 44, so, I go back a few years myself
[-:

I actually remember a buddy of mine saying to me years ago "remember that guy who had the boat on Rossland? He's got a Fountain now!"

Funny the stuff you remember!

Enjoy the wedding/cruise!
Michael

Another interesting sight(s) would be to go east of Wellesley, enter the Lake of the Isle, head west and go through the north passage to the Canadian channel and head west for your return trip.
The water level is about a foot to a foot and half low, that north side channel out of lake of the isles has about a foot of water in it, I wouldn't attempt it with a nice boat

I agree, that's why I suggested running straight across from Kingston to the Cut and going East to the castle.
