Salt water in the crotch might not be so bad on a hot day matter of fact it probably feels better than a bucket of ice water!!

A good friend of mine bought a new 38 top gun a few months ago and I have been going out with him . We took the boat to Key West last month. When you get back down I'll get you a ride on it so you can have a" reality check". When its ****ty in the ocean its ****ty for both V's and the cat. Been there enough times over the last few months in both boats and neither one is much fun in 4-5's. The cig. was drier going through the cut but the cat is smoother once your past it, but neither one was fun after 20-30 minutes. It was much better heading back in and not having to play the throttles especially for the people in the back seat. Come out for a ride and see for yourself.

Default Ok

If you had to pick one,,,, 38' Cig or 30' Cat what would you take?

I know that there is an 8' overall difference, but I am just interested at your choice.

Thanks

sinkorswim
it may not be very correct to discuss 38 cig with 30 cat.lets say 38 cig with 36 skater.I probably choose skater for performance and cig for afternoon cruises.here is my problem I can not choose one of them.while driving cat I am looking for V's comfort and while driving a V I am missing the cats speed....

this is like making a desicion between your wife and girlfriend...
you need both...

Default What a quote.....

The trouble is that I can barely afford my wife, much less a girl friend.. Thats why I have to pick one or the other. Test drives are coming!
