It's not that bold, I don't even consider PowerPlay because they haven't built many and the resale market is limited (pretty much non-existent).

The original poster also had a budget and IMO the 33ZX can be had within his budget if he shops around (and yes, there are multiple for sale). It's also a freaking huge 33. Over 9000 pounds dry weight which will certainly help the ride. It's very tall, lots of freeboard in the cockpit which is very welcome when you get into the big stuff. the height also makes the cabin actually usable (you don't have to crawl around in it). The cabin is equipped with a galley and head so it can qualify as a second home which can really help from a $$ perspective.

Where does the OP mention cabin/galley? Did I miss something? He stated rough ride and fuel as criteria. Over 9000lbs isn't going to be good on fuel right?

Plenty of freeboard in PPs, and the resale market is fine, a little patience and you can get a good deal on a 33 no problem.

define. " rough stuff" to me rough stuff is a good 4-6 footers or better I don't see logo getting that bad at least not from what I have read about it... the great lakes all produce "rough stuff"

31' Larry Smith!!! This one is flawless and the rigging is unreal! I've wanted this boat for the last 5yrs but price is a little high. Turnkey and would be a blast in some nice waves!

Or you could build a 34 Saber!! Only one out there and not many boats that can hang with it in the rough.
