Just one new law could stop all of this:

Stupid people are illegal.

last i checked..... by boat has a manufactures capacity plate on it............................
and in socialist washington, we are now required to have a wash boaters education card on our person at all times when operating a boat..........

so why the stupid attorney? cause people cant take accoutability for their own stupidity....

1st off I'll preface this with how horrible it must be to lose a child.

But, as a parent I am charged with the responsibility to say no, to my child to keep her out of harms way. Were the parents on the boat when it capsized? why didnt they have the werewithall to say, it looks overloaded. I'm sure they are running it over in their minds about shoulda coulda woulda. sad situation all around, more legislationwill accomplish nothing, had they obeyed the laws in the first place it wouldnt have happened.

If as parents they are stupid enough to let their child on an overloaded boat, the responsibility is solely on their shoulders. If they DIDN'T know where their child was, shame on them x2!! Why is your 7yr old alone at night without his/her parents???

The demand for laws and other stuff is absolutely stupid. I despise the parents reaction. No parent should have to bury their child, I empathize with their pain, it does not legitamize their response
