If what was said above about a turbine exploding how do you stop that? I've seen pistons fly out of a block out the side of a boat and land on the dock, I've also seen pistons punch holes in the bottom of boats and nearly sink them.
I've had Bill T pass me twice at well north of 120mph, while I was running mid 70's. I checked my shoulder going around an island, checked it again and he was on me. He took his space and even lifted to make sure there would be no problems as he went by.
If a turbine did indeed explode at that speed, what are you to do other then to attempt to make sure no one is hurt which this crew managed?

I just spoke to a good friend who was there for this and he said excessive speed was not the issue so I recant some of my comments as you know there is always more then one side to a story. Glad everyone is ok and the boat can be fixed. I just don't want to see anyone get hurt that's all.
