It's a awesome boat, every time I walk around her I am amazed at how deep she is, tons of freeboard but still has great lines.

Gotta say was pretty impressed how flat and level it ran in some snotty water.

It's probably just as deep or deeper then mine. Very impressive to run the same speeds as mine with basically 600 less hp.

Yes they are nice boats both of them.
Propellers have changed a bunch and dry sump drives would help the older Apaches. |

This boat is venturing into the big boat market and needs to match performance and features offered by the competition to be successful. Unfortunately top speed is a huge selling point that this boat needs to improve or it will be a one off production like the Chief boat. I like Checkmates and respect their ambition in tough times to revive a big powerboat in an ever so shrinking market. |
