That's great news for the fine folks from Bucyrus. About time!

I would love to see some pictures of the aeration system in the boat. The intake vents, plumbing and aeration holes in the steps.

We don’t want to take it there until it’s absolutely perfect
It's a brand new boat...How much more perfect do you need it???So they sell them a boat for a few hundred grand and say oh by the way you have to finish it???? what a bunch of bs...

+1.......100 MPH is the 700sci benchmark......85 with 565's would be expected.

It's great to see these molds back in use! The boat looks Awesome!

BUT....... if that thing doesn't break 100MPH somethings wrong. Back in 1985 when it was a straight bottom, running 3 blade props, with speed master 3's, and 700hp a side, they were running mid 90's. How in the world with today's lamination, HP, props, stepped bottom and drives, can the only hope for low 90's?

Dry weight reportedly is 10,300 pounds. I don't know how that factors in with boats of comparable weight and running surface, but I did not include it in the article and probably should have.

Beyond, as always, carry on, gentlemen.

It's nothing that Checkmate didn't or did do!
