Hat's off to Let's Rock. They did a great job preventing this from being any worse than it was.

I am not sure how or why it happened but thankfully no one got killed.
This could have been a lot worse based on what we know (boat flipped, people got ejected, boat kept circling after the accident).

Thoughts and prayers to all involved.
I know the owner of the boat but I was not there and do not know any more than what has already been said.

I am just trying to grasp how the "Let's Rock" crew managed to do what they did to stop the boat. Way to go guys!

True Americans. Excellent human character shown here. Nice work Let's Rock.

Kind of off topic but didn't the original owner of LR punch Stu Jones on a FL Powerboat Club run several years ago???

Wow, what a story and definitely makes you feel good.

I have so much respect for the Lets Rock crew!

I'd also like any more details of what happened and how?

Hey Sy,

Just as a side note, the roll would be covered but then wouldn't be covered after the roll? Then would the damage be covered in the case of the "save the swimmers" and damage the boat in the process (on purpose)?.
Secondary impact and seperate deductable. It would be covered.

However the insurance company will look for any reason to deny the claim.

I have no idea how, but it would be a good idea, obviously. Sometimes ignorance cannot be fixed.

Damn I live right here on the bay and never heard anything about it or the bay rocks deal. I heard something about a boat accident some where near Tangier Island in Virginia but I didnt get all of the story like you guys did. Im glad everyone is ok. Have to always wear your leash I call it cause the way we ride a lot of the time we could get thrown as well. I have been running boats since I was 6years old and if your not reading the motion ocean right it will certainly hurt you. Cudos to the gent who change direction of the circling boat caue unless it ran out of fuel it would have ran all of them down eventiualy.
