Nick, Nort, Bubba.....you guys have known me along time. Chuck is as good as they get. The plea was taken to stop further damage...He has fought this for over a yr. The feds were seaching for anything and everything once they realized they had the wrong guy and that the guy they let go on a year sentence in county jail WAS actually the ring leader. ..... unknowledged people can say what they want about how he buys his boats and all that, but in reality, the man is a hardworking HONEST business man that got taken advantage of and now is paying the price. Very sad story....

I don't know that I've met him(which is why I didn't say much) but I'll take your word that he is a good guy in a bad situation. I just thought it was ironic after reading the other thread.

Agree !
Now if I read this right, "Prosecutors say the scheme was noticed when the owner of Garvey Hyundai based in Queensbury noted that of the handful of dealerships he owns, the Plattsburgh location was the only one not making a profit.
That would lead me to believe Chuck was the one that had the investigation started right ???
I have met Chuck on many runs. Just from what I personally know of him, this is not his character.
I personally believe he had no knowledge .
That's my .02 and I am sticking to it.
People are wrongly accused and put away everyday.
I feel the same has happened here.
He is taken the fall for what these other two had going on.
The woman apparently was the one running this whole scam. Admittedly by the Prosecutor , "Could it never have been caught? Yes. She was doing that good of a job," Blatchley said.

Ok, just watched this keep in mind that if you buy something at a garage sale and it turns out to be stolen you can be charge with criminal possession of stolen property.
The owner of a dealership is really not aware of individual deals, thats what the sales manager and the controller does.
From what I just watched, Chuck was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I've talked with Chuck a couple of times over the phone, and he seems like a good guy....... And I can tell you personally, if you don't investigate the people you are in business with 1st, before getting into business with them, it can come back and bite you HARD. Unless it's someone like me, who bites back even harder! People these days will do ANYTHING FOR THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR!
