Could you just rent her out for a few hours:D ? Seriously , my wife's ok up to 50-55 mph , beyond that there is a 10 second rule:rolleyes: WOT for no more that 10 seconds:( . She's not real crazy about having to hang on. Your right C Spray the Chesapeake is really great , I usually try to get down that way once a month.

I cruised from Shellburne Nova Soctia to Dana Florida on the Gentry Trans Atlantic boat.

mika 07-13-2002 12:51 PM

the Gentry boat? now thats a serious cruisin missle:) How much fuel for that trip?

Team Gary 07-13-2002 12:57 PM

Mika, I'm not sure what the total consumption was. We did stop in New York, and put 5000 galons in it.

mopower 07-13-2002 08:54 PM

I certainly won't complain about mine any more:D .

the longest trip i ever took in a boat was in 1989 during an attempted record run on the mississippi river.1036 miles from new orleans to st.louis in just under 24 hours,in a 22 donzi classic.i would love to make that trip again at a more comfortable cruising speed.
