get into a magazine for testing? Is this something that the manufactures work out with the mag officials or is it a dealer related avenue?

Obviously all the boats are built ready for sale so for the most part are probably committed to a dealer already and lent to the magazine for the test. I just wondered who made the arrangements and how different boats are selected. Does the mag contact the manufacture and say "hey it's your turn to bring us a boat for testing" or ?

A perfect example would be ThunderDans new AT. I would love to see that boat in PB mag for a full blown test. Certainly Dan would need to sign off anf let them but lets say he would, who makes the decision to allow it into the mag?

ADVERTISING $$$ SPENT IN THE MAGAZINE SPEAKS VOLUMES!

I believe the mag sends out invitations. There must be a way for smaller start ups to also get invited. I would assume that once the company has their foot in the door, they can keep on comming back.


HP-did you catch any of that Quad graphics fire? Looks like the next couple of issues are going to be backed up.
