Its all Bushes fault
|
I don't really hear an apology in any of this.
We don't hang up on calls at my company, ever. Why would we take a chance to lose a customer, just to screen calls? 1) If caller ID says "Not Available" we let it go to voicemail. 2) If it is a telemarketer with caller ID, and it is pretty obvious, we let it go to voicemail. 3) If it is a telemarketer with a legitimate caller iD, then my admin takes a message, or may even forward it if it sounds helpful. If they don't want to leave a message, then we request they try back later. 4) If it is a customer or potential customer, we take the call, or my admin takes a message if "sales" is busy. I've never lost a sale with this method, and never hung up on anyone. Michael |
Michael 1 My thoughts' exactly. The first point of contact in the company is the sectary if he or she is rude, that reflex's on the company. She was extremely rude and hanged up the phone twice, and for the individuals that are flocking to their rescue, saying I caused this type of ill behavior apparently you must have the same etiquette. ENOUGH SAID ON THIS SUBJECT!
Customer beware |

If I call a company & get nothing but machines it frustrates me to no end, I will leave my name & # but I would rather talk to a human even if its just to leave a message. That just my opinion, Randy

the biggest mistake I see by owners is that they are always working IN their business just not ON THIER BUSINESS.
If Carmen was truly interested she would have sent him a PM with an apology and her cell phone number, not some BS about call me if you want to. No dog in the fight, but this service is what drives companies out of business. Can't even imagine this activity. |
If I am asking for information about a product that you sell I see no reason to have to give my name. How do I know that they won't use my info to call me 10 times a day to get me to buy their product?
