From LOTO boater to another . At LOTO you dont have to check the weather to go boating! If the sun is out you go. Not the case up there. But the boating is better in MI than MO imo.

That is very true, some days there is no boat big enough to go out on Lake Michigan. The worst I was ever out on was 8 to 10's and we had no business being out there. It was actually a demo ride that convinced me to buy a Fountain. the boat dealer had to go from Racine back to Milwaukee to get home, his wife was really made at him.

How much is it gonna cost me to buy a seat on one of these boats for the day??? I won't bring my checkbook, ill bring cash! I make a great deck hand/boat wiper downer/fender ***** too.

Im going to be there Dan, one way or another.....And yes, Im the official "pot stirrer", I think thats how this all got started!....As far as me participating, I have a Top Gun with 572 700HP a side.....with TRS drives! So I need to be careful in rough water or Ill be limping back. I would really love to go for a ride on the Skater or WW filming the event( I would need 2 seats!). But Im sure yours and/or Thumper Skater are already full, so we will see how it plays out.....I will bring my boat if need be. Not even sure how long of a haul it would be for me....can someone give me an address I can Mapquest to so I can get an idea of how far away the event is?.....This Onion Fun Run is definately taking a life of its own and seems to have a following of some good people. Thump, your doing a hell of a job organizing this event, and I know all your hard work will pay off.... BTW, I check this thread 10 times a day!Hahahaha.....

Oh boy....15 HR ride for me....I may be flying and hitching a ride when I get there! Hahahaha....
