I think the key to this is who picks the water conditions ;) Just sayin.

Congrats on your daughter too. Can't even imagine :(

Mother Nature dictates the conditions. Tuesday, October 30th would be a great day. Winds 50 mph straight out of the north.

Well, this thread is somrthing to be proud of! It didnt turn into a sh!t show at all... Instead, it turned into a run for a great cause. THE ONION FUN RUN is going to be a big deal! So spring of 2013? When the date nailed down, let me know so I can plan to travel up! Im sure I can get a good group of guys to come up for a couple days.....Lets not forget the original start of this thread....Thumps 40 Skater VS Wicked Won. Two kick azz boats running balls out.....just like the old days!

No kidding. Best of luck to your daughter and your family. Hope this all comes together. I would like to come and watch.

Hope this can raise some money for a good cause and establish some bragging rights.

Jay, I'd be up for a road trip to go watch w/ ya. :evilb:

Well then, no better boat to have there than "Recovery". Kind of the spirit of the race team and my boat.

I can't imagine what it must be like. I have a 10 and a 12 who mean the world to me.

Again, I have no idea what I'm doing but there are plenty of good people I have already met and contacted who are more than willing to help me run this beast!

Funny thing is our 40 Skater is one of Stuart Hayims 1992 Recovery race boats. We could not think of a better reason to bring it out.

Thank you its been a rough month but the future looks AWESOME!

You'll do fine that is a great boat.
