Wasn't insinuating that anyone on this thread are not safe boaters, I hope they are because I'm on some Poker Runs riding right beside them. I guess the reason for the statement is I was on Lanier when four people lost their life last weekend, not a very good feeling.. All this talk of running 100mph in 6-8s is just that , even in an Apache. Watch the helicopter videos of them running and look at the air under the boats as the announcer is calling them big seas . 3-4s is more like it with an occasional 5.
