Best apples to apples, Argentina, Alcone 46 skater vs triple engine V bottom, approx 15ft waves, the pace boat was a destroyer. we milled at 40 mph to keep the boats from sinking.

Alcone lapped the tripe engine v bottom at least once maybe more hard to keep up.

Will not even be close, Skater will crush
This forum needs a little trash talkin to get back on track. Was getting a little too warm and fuzzy. Hope to be in the "crush" boat.

Thats the spirit. Apaches are for river boating (sorry best I could do).

Do a youtube search for 40 skater recovery or marinemanagment llc. for pics and video.

Going to be posting some winter update photos on midwest boat party site with updates I'm doing (motors, throttles, a little interior work, etc) It's also on midwestboatparty.com under boat of the month sticky.

Excellent idea!! A few other possible ideas to raise cash that may have already been mentioned in the previous 32 pages that I can't remember;

1. Sell the aerial footage from the run
2. Allow OSO members to sponsor their favorite boat with a donation to the cause. Maybe the the winning (not a race? haha) boats' sponsors can get a "first to the onion" t-shirt with a minimum donation.

Just a couple of ideas.

Do not think it would be a good idea for a production boat to go out in big seas and run hard.

We are talking 8-10 ft seas correct ?

I will say we were running 90mph in 15ft seas in argentina, with 900hp per side, old school 40 skater.

Will an apache even go that fast in smooth water ?
