I vote September also not June. I also seem to remember the water calmer in June and rougher in the fall but you never know with lake MI. It can be glass one day and rough the next. I also like the fall so if you break you have all winter to fix. And if its rough, someone IS going to break.
Plus I will challenge a 33 Cat in the rough, something really low profile with a center pod!

Agree.
I'm likely to run VERY hard in mid September knowing I have all winter to fix it. By that time I hope to know my boat and be able to push it a bit (actually a lot)!
Likewise, I very unlikely to run hard at all in June when I know I could potentially ruin my summer. In fact you guys will probably be saying who's that sally running in dat dere skater if it's in June.
