Have lived in Chicago all my life prior to 2003 and boated on Lake Michigan 1000+ hours owned a Mercury Racing Dealer we held Awesome cats and Velocity boats.

The Boat has been on the trailer because the water at Loto is like the roads in Illinois. ( That's pronounced Illinoi ) I crumba

Just my $.02, but I think any and every manufacturer should be allowed if it's a run to truly shake down the best offshore boats. Shouldn't everyone should be allowed to beat the hell out of their equipment?

I can't help but laugh every time I check this thread and see it's grown by another page. We still have 7 months til we find out who really has the biggest onions so how long will this thread be then?

I will admit I can't wait for the run and I will be there to see it.

Rainbow Chaser is still around, and running. I believe oso member MR. CIG (Mark)took it on his honeymoon many years back!! Im too young to have been around those days, but had to be great having a buddy throw you the keys to his offshore boat for your honeymoon!

I hang out frequently with those old guys on T-dock, and know quite a few from down on the river. Those T-dockers got 20-30 years on me, and I still hit the Vberth long before they do! Maybe you recognize these two guys....
