I'm here in West Creek other side of the bay even with Beach Haven on Long Beach Island still without power lot of trees down or okay no flooding I'm hearing in LB I got devastated Lightspeed really sorry hear about your house and everybody else that's a plane lot more damage than I did

I know the feeling, had 12ft in Katrina and had a house full of water again this year in Isaac since my roof got damaged. Worst part isn't the storm itself, wait till you have to deal with your insurance company! Unfortunately you will most likey have a long road of reconstruction and inconveniences ahead of you. Start itemizing all of your contents if you have that coverage because they are most likely going to ask for a list of everything that got damaged or destroyed and than they are going to pick it apart. Good friend just lost everything he owned in Isaac, his house had 14ft due to flooding and he is having a tough time with his insurance. They asked for a contents list, picked it apart pretty bad and now they are asking for proof that he owned items or receipts, How are you to supposed to have receipts when your entire house went under water?? Pretty sad if you ask me. Good luck with everything

The level/amount of damage and devastation is hard to grasp...

Yes, it is! I had 50k in damage from Isaac in August and just found out my insurance company isn't renewing my policy at the end of the year. So they are allowed by insurance commissioners and whoever else is involved to take your money than when something goes down and they have to pay out they are just allowed to not renew or just simply pull out of your area. Insurance is a joke. It's great till you need to use it than once you do anything goes on their end!

If you check Tim's site, you can see the yacht club is pretty bad. I'd like to hear about Arnold's down on Beaver Dam too. My uncle and his family own Forsberg's across the street. It's probably not a pretty situation.
