No way, something would clog the drain plug (debris) and it will still float away but at 3-4 ft deep it won't go far since the trailer will probably get tangled in something (trees, mailbox, telephone pole).
If it was 12 ft and moving water then the boat might have left the neighborhood......

Where is Sy in all this mess? Good insurance man should be out scouting lost boats! :evilb:

So, I just heard my street had water up to the mailboxes. Where could the boat really go attached to the trailer? The trailer is so heavy.

When our place had a 10ft surge a few years ago our mailbox floated away...along with 2 80 gal propane tanks. Our yard went 4 ft under and luckily the house had a 4.5 ft foundation. I had a 21ft boat in the garage and the trailer had "idiot poles" on it. Thankfully I strap the stern to the trailer. The boat floated in the garage, bounced around tearing up the walls and pushed the tongue through the door then sat back down with the boat still attached to the trailer. Many others were left on trailers in front yards, most were found in the general area, a few small ones were never found.

Being a bigger boat, it will float the trailer, I'm hoping for the best.

Wow that sucks for sure.....

The Mako in the first few pics had the bilge pump running in the photo so hopefully the inside of that boat stayed dry/ not waterlogged.

The last shot with the Sturgeon General Contender looks like the Honda OB from the Mako got smashed into the side it.
