Im in the North East tip of Maryland. I am a Captain at our Fire Company and we have a meeting today @ 9am with emergency services to get a game plan because of what this storm is bringing. We've all been through big storms but at the pace this one is moving, its going to be a long few days for us no doubt.

That is one of the scenarios , no one knows for sure . The European model puts the stalled eye just to my south . Right now i'm sitting in the bullseye of three converging storms .

Pre-storm shooting today. Prepare for storm tonight. I am also in the cross hairs of the eye of the storm. Mandatory evacuation of all barrier islands on the entire New Jersey coast by Sunday 4 PM

Good luck to everyone in Sandys path. Praying that everyone comes out of it safe and with little or no property damage.

I stopped at my marina and they are hopping. The procrastinators that didn't schedule removal of their boats are officially SOL. Told to remove their boats themselves today as the marina isn't able to do it as they're busy dealing those that already scheduled. What a mess. Absolute chaos.

Tell me again how Yankee's get ready for a hurricane . I've got a couple jugs of Captain Morgan , my best wetsuit and a comfortable lounge chair . Just trying to cheer my brothers up in the face of danger .

Thanks so much for the offer, I'm back in PA trying to prepare for it up here now. I'll hope for the best. Thanks again.
