Here is a pic looking out the window at the house. Tide is steady blowing away. Then 2 more pics from OC MD. They are under, just getting worse.

Haven't followed this thread but, have you seen anything on other forums.

On THT there are a new NJ/NY guys that as recently as Sat were saying this was "another BS" storm that will have some wind and rain. That some areas will flood but they always do so what's the big deal"......today his friend at the waterfront sent him pics as his house is about to take on water.....totally changed his tune!!!!

Why don't people that have never experienced tidal surge listen to those that have been through many of them?!?!?!?

Call me an optimist but on weather.com the hourly forecast for Atlantic City shows sustained winds reaching no higher than 41mph and the current radar looks like the back side of the storm is breaking up.

Attached are pictures taken a few hours ago in Sea Bright NJ... Regardless of the wind speed, it's not good folks.... This was the first high tide and the storm is 200 or so miles out to sea.

Wow....Looks bad. Could be a lot worse with the wind speeds they were talking about though

The storm has intensified, and the pressure has fallen 6mb in less than 2 hours. The worst part of the storm won't make landfall until this evening, in about 4-6 hours depending on speed. It's a slow-moving monster, that won't be gone for 2 days.
Parts of Atlantic City look to be underwater already.

Remember, this storm is actually going to be combined from 3 storms, including a winter storm.

Here's a live blog from Accuweather.com
http://www.accuweather.com/en/weathe...phic-im/746423

It says between 6 and 8 PM. North of the landfall area will receive the worst impacts, especially in terms of storm surge, which could set records.
