Just a little update on this...... Went down this weekend to sea trial and pick the boat up. We took the boat out with 4 guys, half a tank of fuel and we were running in about a 30mph head wind. After doing some slower cruising around and letting everything warm up we tried a quick top end run. We had the throttle stabbed for a total of about 8 seconds starting from a 45mph cruise and hit 76 gps with all of the above conditions that I mentioned. So I do feel 80mph is certainly within reach
From what I could see this happened at about 4900 rpms, and 5 pounds of boost on the gauges. Troy is a stand up guy!!!! And I am really excited about this boat. My family and I actually got a quick 1 hour trip in yesterday as we were enjoying some 70 degree temps and 40 mph winds here in Michigan. Will be winterizing tonight as it's suppose to start snowing this afternoon.......
