So what is considered heavy?

My 32 is 7200 dry, pretty light for a 28 foot boat right?

The last 35's (32-33 feet) were 9800lbs dry from the web site.

And a 42 with bravos somewhere close to 12,500 lbs. Again I think most people call those 37-38 foot boats.

Is that light? What does the full epoxy OL's weight?

Race and pleasure are two completely different boats also...some pleasure ride better then others in rough water.. pretty much all race boats are gonna be full of bulkheads

Reggie Fountain has spent more time testing in the rough than all other mfg's combined. I truly respect him and his race on Sunday , sell on Monday theory has also surpassed all others.

That would be great if the boat you were buying on Monday was built like the one on Sunday but I don't think that's the case.

I have yet to see a pleasure fountain with a bow of bulkheads....just like I never saw race fountain with a full cabin..... or any others... so what your saying is the fountain is hands down the best rough water boat since he won the most races? If Don and Ben were still around I bet things would be different.... maybe I'm wrong... utility doubt it....I dont see fountains passing Apaches in 80's and early 90's videos.... I see Apache dominating.....till they are not made anymore...

cig92 was the one driving the boat. i was watching the gps and his brother was sh!tting his pants. lake ontario gets big rollers not like lake erie water. we were running high 80's in cigrockets top gun during the sea trial after the re-rig being easy on the boat in big 4-5 footers. get big power. big waves. big nuts. and go have fun !
