To some people thats 6-8' so they can come on the interwebs and say they were in huge water and their boat is so awesome that they didn`t even spill their beer in 6-8'`s

It's very difficult to judge wave height on videos. Most of the time the waves look smaller on video than what they are. If this was JUST a video of the water(with no boat), I bet most people would guess these were 2-3 footers.
