Happy New Year everyone! I am finally back home from (hopefully) my last trip to Afghanistan... I am happy to announce that my "21' Scout Making a Comeback" thread is now on the Chief Powerboats Owners forum. I'm also excited to be helping the "Chief" tribe on their new 42' Warrior as well as their 21' Chief Edition Scout projects, it's an honor to be working along side World Powerboat Champion Bob Saccenti and the "Chief Race Team". Please visit my : "21 Scout making a comeback" thread for "Defender" updates...Hope to see all you folks at the Miami boat show in February.

Default The gift of a lifetime..

The day Phil returned home from Afghanistan, we went out to dinner to celebrate his homecoming.. When Phil and his lovely girlfriend Maria arrived at the restaurant, he had what looked like a shirt box in his hand, little did I know it was the gift of a lifetime. Phil said; I brought you something back from my trip that I want you to have. I immediately opened the box and was speechless for a minute.. Phil said that sometimes on combat missions an American Flag is stored in the aircraft for luck and a successful mission. When the aircraft returns back to base the pilot and crew sign a certificate and present the flag and signed document to a selected person but on this occasion an American Flag was flown specifically for me.

All I can say is I have received special gifts in my days, BUT this one tops all of them.

Thank You Phil for your service and your wonderful thoughtful gift. I will treasure it forever.

Special thanks to all my "OSO" friends. I am dedicating all my efforts into learning as much as I can while working with Bobby S. My formal training as an aviation technician with the US Air Force and working in the "drone" world helps me grasp the concepts of the marine performance industry. Stop by the "Chief" booth and see the performance machines at the Miami boat show.
