Sonny Leonard has been building motors for many years, Cigarette (Craig Barrie) in the early 90's or late 80's had a set SAR big cube (600+) motors in a 38' at the NYC boat show, and I thought that was the ultimate (back then). 1000+ cu. in motor, it was only a matter of time for him (SAR) to get it done. I have never met or done business with Pat Musi, but engines builders like Steve Schmidt, Sonny Leonard, and Pat Musi, are all building some big cube monsters. And all have built marine motors.
If I had an the money to spend, I like the idea of owning two large cube motor(s) like the 1000+, but that is only a Christmas wish for Santa to grant to me.
