Anybody know whether or not to use any kind of sealer on the cork gasket? I cannot find anything about it in the Mercruiser service manual.Thanks

I used a light coat of 4200 when I did my Baja, just to be safe...

Must be looking in the wrong manual. Manual says use bellows adhesive ONLY on the housing side to retain. Do not use other than this.
