Hmmm...can't imagine why I'm not out of work yet!:rolleyes:
Okay, so when you're boating, what is your (or your crewmates)favorite beer/drink?
When I list a beer I'm including if you like the "light" beer version as well...I'm just curious as to who is drinking what out there.
Disclaimer: there is nothing wrong with a cocktail on the water...as long as it's done in an adult and responsible manner.;)

Water if I'm just out for the day and corona with a lime if staying overnight.

Thank god you included the fact that drinking alcohol while boating (AS LONG AS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE) is not illegal or a bad idea! Like alot of people seem to think it is. my .02

Gatorade, ice cold, right out the cooler :)

On a serious note, Drinking is only performed on a very limited basis...I enjoy a good import beer or the best, Sam Adams. Two or three at most. I know my limits and it's legal....The rest is for later! :D

if I am anchored for the day, I will have a cold bud light or two, or three, but if I am on a run I keep it down to one and lots of water:cool:

Don't people realize that fish "do it" in water?? I'll stick with the King of Beers, in moderation.

My favorite right now is Absolut Mandrin and Sprite. It tastes like Orange crush with a kick and is great on a hot day---all done in moderation of course!!

Ice water, but I prefer MGD. Although, I hold the MGD down to 1 about every 2 hours.:cool:

Capt. Absolut checkng in! I know I'll catch hell for this. But we don't boat without the bottle. Absolut and Sprite or Orange soda for the women. I know this isn't PC on this board but I think some of the people on this board don't tell the truth about this subject. Right or wrong I answered the question HONESTLY!:)

I'm a Diet Cokeaholic while running the boat. Once anchored or docked for the night, I'm a Miller Lite fan:D

Gatorade when running and MGD or Corona at the dock or on the trailer.

Water (or more often Gatorade) while I'm on the boat. Smirnoff Ice at the Turtle afterwards.

If I'm driving, water most of the time or a soda once in a while. Never any alcohol, no exceptions.

2. Beer

I, for one, appreciate the honesty!
For myself, my beverage of choice depends upon the schedule of activities for the day!
If I am at LOTO and we are going to be running WOT in snotty water with more idiots on on lake than should be allowed by law :rolleyes: , then I drink water or gatorade ONLY! That said, I will have a drink (Ketel One and seven:D :) ) if we are having dinner and are within a reasonable distance from the dock for the night.
If the day calls for coving out all day within a short distance from the dock, I will have a Pacifico or three during the day, but keep in mind I ALWAYS curtail the drinks several hours before heading out on the water!

When back on land, it is Bacardi O & Coke! :D

Coors Light
 

I drink Coors Light because I can drink it (and piss it) all day and still drive home.

I stay away from the hard stuff (Jello Shots, etc.), but my wife loves 'em! :cool:

It figures I would get Busted by the cop.:) I swear officer it's only water in that bottle of Absolut.:D :cool: I thought my answer would have been more controversial than this. Things have been pretty quite since Supercrash and Catman left. (HEY!! You don't think they were the same person do you?, it's been done before):D And for the record I don't condone Drunk Drivers but zero tolerance is a little extreme.:cool:

I pretty much put my boat in and make a lap to charge the batteries then raft w/ all my friends and drink Miller Lite all day.....then start on water a few hours before time to leave.

Before noon - Beer
After noon and evening - Vodka and 7 up or sprite or squirt.

Liquor before beer-your in the clear
Beer before liquor- never sicker!!!!!

Is that where I've been going wrong all these years! Thanks Consintracy:cool: And I always thought it was cause we didn't stop at the Denny's on the way home.:)
