Texasboatrepos?
Is this company and/or Paul Casey for real? Anyone ever bought a boat from them? Thanks.
|
I was wondering the same thing. Seems like good deals, like they should be for a repo boat, just easier for the general public to find. Only bad part is now you let everyone know about it! J/K. Its all good. Have not bought anything yet but do pay attention to the inventory.
|
I was on his site last night he has a 36skater for sale that sold as a repo not to long ago does any one know any thing about it? And the stuff I heard from other was stay away from him!

Remember some very smart person told me this once ( oh yea it was my Dad) "if it sounds to good to be true than it probably is" I'm now 60 years old and this has proved true 100% of the time for me!!
|
Theres been a few threads asking about tbr boats and one where it looks like maybe Paul Casey got bannned. Doesn't necessarily mean anything, but maybe it does....
|
I wouldn't trust them... They have a 42 fountain thats been sitting a National Liquidators in Cleveland for a year or more and now they're currently selling it on ebay. He claims the only water damage was someone left the cabin door open and rain water got in, when in reality the boat sank in its slip. He either doesn't know much about what he's selling and just makes up stories or is a fraud.
|
i was looking at that fountain, is threr away to verify the boat sank?

Brett The Skater is not a repo. It's his personal boat, and has been for years. I've had nothing but good luck on my personal dealings with him. He's always told me if an item was bad or good based on his personal knowledge of the item or the info. that was passed to him on an item. |

I think the 36' Skater was also a submarine at one time , there were some pics around of it being towed with only the sponson tips above water

He randomly sends me picture texts of AR-15s and ammunition saying "I am his" and that I owe him 100k due to his lost profit sales last year from posting about him on OSO...
p.s. Almost every word in his texts is mispelled. LOL |
What's the stories on the 42PR & the Glad?

|
the one that I bought was listed by them as well as the dealer where I bought it from....Texas had it listed without engines for 10k less than what I bought it with engines, the boat was no where near Texas so HMMMMMMM dont know....an observation

This clown can't even change his website, to not show auto. This guy gives car salesman a bad name.

I actually had the displeasure of dealing with him recently. I had a customer that was looking to buy an engine from him. My customer asked me to speak with him to get some info on the engine. We were just using it for a core to build, so it was coming apart one way or the other. He couldn't give me any info on it what so ever. I had to call Boyd's to get any info. They were really nice, but they didn't know how many hours were on it. It was built for someone else and Paul took it in on trade.
Paul didn't know how much time was on it. I asked him to do a leakdown, to which he replied that he sold tons of engines but had no way of doing a leakdown. Again, it was coming apart, so no big deal. He wouldn't take a credit card or Paypal from my customer, who is in Canada. So, I was to pay him. I told him that i would have the truck line pick it up if he could just throw it on a pallet. He told me that he sold tons of engine, but he had no way of loading it on a truck. I said, no problem, I'll send a truck with a lift gate. He told me that he sells tons of engines, but he has no way to put it on a pallet. I asked him how that is possible, to which he replied, I sell tons of engines and I just put them in the back of a pickup. He told me that he would see what he could do. Over 2 weeks go by with me trying to contact him with no reply. He was in Vegas. I guess phones don't work in Vegas. Anyway, after I finally reach him after 2 weeks, I asked him if he was able to find a way to put the engine on a pallet. His response was "no, I haven't, and you can tell your customer to go phuck himself. I'm not selling him the engine". I was keeping my customer informed when I couldn't reach Paul for over 2 weeks. My customer called me repeatedly to find out the deal and I had to keep telling him that I was unable to reach Paul. He apparantly sent Paul an email asking what the deal was. Paul obviously didn't like that. He did, however, tell me about the vast amount of engines he has sold right after telling my customer to go phuck himself. He seems like a really nice dude. Eddie |
@keegan, i HAVENT TALKED TO HIM, i was dealing with national liguidators, i really dont care as they turned our bid down a year ago, was just wondering if the engines were redone or replaced as someone had stated.

I remember this guys first flip before he even had a website. It was a 42' fountain with big power out of CA. White with black lines. Early 90's rig. He had it listed on oso and some other sites as his own freshwater boat.
What a pos. It will come around to bite him in the azz some day. |

IT ALWAYS DOES |
my mechanic works at national in Cleveland, the center engine on that 42 is seized. wouldn't want a sunken boat anyways.

wheres my floaty key chain???????? |
seen where hes got a complete drive train out of a 36eliminator now, 500efis with alum heads, imco boxes and all motors seemed cheap.

I have done several deals with this guy. Yes it's Paul Casey. Every deal done with him has been Completely miss represented.
One was on a 2009 27 Daytona when my friend got to national liquidators the drive and the extension box , all rigging was stolen from the boat the night before. (He drove 12 hours) The other deal was on a Nordic. The boat was a said to have a Imco SCX on it. First run the drive blew up and when taken apart it turned out to be a bravo 1 with Imco stickers This guy has a inside connection at national liquidators. There is no way to bid against him. His connection will let him know whatever you bid so he can bid a few dollars over and win the boat. He has no idea what he buys. He buys junk, pieces junk together and sells it on his site. You'll have no idea what your getting when buying from him. Nate Michel ~ so you don't think I'm hiding behind a screen name..... |
But if its a deal its a deal no matter who gots the stuff.
