Out of the paint booth and getting the new rubrail. The old one was an all black rubber looking one.

If what the trailer says is true with "Solarized" the last time it was raced was 2005 in Marathon, spin out and wreck... I believe the owners name was Bill Park or Parks something like that. You might want to call Hall's Propeller Service in Christmas as he has a lot of knowledge on the Velocity Race boats. Heck Mike might have even been in the boat when the wreck occured

I will check with Halls. I had heard that the original owner only raced for a short time. How bad was the wreck? The innovation motor still has its seal so it doesn't look like its been touched and during the boat's conversion to a pleasure boat, it's been down to its bare hull with no signs of damage or repair.

These are some pics of the unfinished cabin prior to starting work on it.

The extra bulkheads put in for racing will mostly stay. They shouldnt be too much in the way.

Starting to work on the cabin. A bunch of glass work and wiring had to be done.
