Default Reversion with silent choice

When upgrading power, when is it time to get rid of the short risers and silent choice to avoid reversion?? Is there a specfic cam size that would be the threshold?

Bump, also curious?

Engine will be a N/A 509 with Stainless Marine manifolds and stock 502 mag heads. The engine is going in for a rebuild and I'd like to add a little power while I'm there but am on the fence about removing the captain's call.

KE performance says nothing over 230*.

What say you?
