Anyone notice the speed-o tops out at 80? Maybe he's reading the tach at 5 (5000) rpm and thinking it's 50 mph and x2 that. Honest mistake lol

I do agree completely that it is a very nice boat, it has nice quality parts on it. And super clean. Just why not be straight and say its a 70-75 mile an hour boat? No shame in that at all. I hope to be that fast this year with more hp.

Well I think it would do low to mid 70's BUT....Adding the "Gelled In" graphics, Billett Battery tray, Billet fire extinguisher bracket and chrome fire extinguisher, AND a BRAND NEW KNEE BOARD, all that will add a AT LEAST another 25-30MPH!!!!!

Take the GPS with and a back up GPS then tell him, if it breaks a 100 mph by X amount for so long, you would buy it, but if it dosent he gives the boat to ya.. get him to put up or shut up..

Drilling out your speedo pickup isn't going to make it read higher.
Pressure is pressure, and your speedo is nothing but a pressure gauge

Maybe he was going down hill with the wind to his back when it broke 100...

Fwiw. It was the pitot hole on a 2001 Bravo. The hole on the leading edge was smaller than the passage. And for whatever reason it did work...
