Well I emailed the guy today asking about it. this is what i asked "I have a question about the validity of your 100 MPH claim? Have you really had the boat up to 100 MPH on GPS? I saw you boat mentioned on a forum and had to ask."

and this is his response "this boat was built for speed from the very beginning
there are so many upgrades, you really need to see it to believe it
yes, there are always 2 gps's on board to verify speed
thanks for your interest
come see it"

Maybe he sprayed the bottom with the ultra ever dry?

Built from speed from the very beginning and carries 2 GPS? that extra weight might knock him down to 99 mph, gps verified of course.

"Boatally Insane" on here had a Checkmate 230 Convincer , actual 21.5ft of bottom with 1.5ft of platform...
Had 695 hp( dynoed full dress) ran 85mph..
The only way the one in the ad would run 100mph is on the trailer behind a very fast tow vehicle..

Frank,

I only had 599.5 hp but I didn't have a "Custom Billet Ski Tow Ring" so that must make up the difference in MPH...

Beautiful Checkmate though..

Whatever it takes to get someone to see it,best way, peek their interest without any real facts.

This would be a waste of time ,if anyone was looking for more than what it really is.

Know a guy that has a 24' checkmate,seen it run with 632 ci. and does run 106 mph with complete imco drive,but i'm guessing it's 750-800 + hp.Beautiful boat.

O'well just hate it when people won't be up front when selling things.

Simple question real RPM and Pitch ?
Probably another 200HP ,it's impossible???

my 2 cents
I agree. 200HP+

The boat does have some nice parts though.
