As a former Checkmate owner, I can absolutely guarantee that this particular boat will do 100 MPH on GPS with two people in it. Of course you will need a wide open stretch of interstate to get the tow vehicle up to that speed. And watch your step when you get out of the boat. It sits higher up on the trailer than it does in the water.

Fast+fun how much of a handful was that to drive? Wouldn't want to be out in anything other then a calm day running those kinda speeds in that. With that being said I'd imagine an honest 60 more hp isn't going to net you much speed...

It was pretty squirrely until hydraulic steering was added. Its a pad bottom boat, driver input will keep it on the pad. The same customer upgraded to a ZT260 and has one of our 1100s in it running 112. Agreed though I doubt this boat runs 100, but I wouldnt be surprised at 90.

The boat looks clean as hell and to a new boater who doesn't know OSO, I bet this looks like a sweet ride and they take the bait hook, line, and sinker... And I bet that boat in reality does haul a$$, but it has the same chance of breaking 100 under it's own power as the Power Wheels Corvette my nephew drives
