I do not. If they did view the cameras a lot more will be coming available . It can prove whether or not the Imperial had its lights on and also if there was another boat before him that came through the canal and which boats went away from the accident scene under the bridge just south of it. There was a thread here on OSO back when this was first discussed. Scarabman I believed confirmed in that thread another incident happened around the same time where a boat ran aground just south of the Mantoloking Bridge . Cattus Island park I think was the area. http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/3037943-post297.html

The blue streak matches the color of the trailer stop . That what makes me believe he missed lining up the boat to the trailer while loading. See my photos.

If this were the case the bow would not have damage on the starboard side either . I would think anyway.

Or the damage would be only on the side of the initial impact. Also would explain how the drive and all transom accessories would be untouched... Just an opinion though, I'm not a ballistic expert.

The console is fairly high on the boat. As described the boat went over the top of the whaler. The whaler really would have gone done really deep for the hardware to clear all that.

From what I heard from a Very Reliable source, NJ State Police Marine Division brought in the Connecticut State Police Marine Investigation Team who are know to be 2nd to none and they did the complete investigation.......I'm sure there report will paint the picture.....from forensic testing of paint to fiberglass on both boats.
I am sure they all the footage Tim has mentioned and more.
OK so if he's innocent that he may be "I'm not the jury" But why pull your boat out of the water when its normally not a trailer queen? Why hide it? Wait until we hear about his witness, She is now his wife and I heard her dad a NJST and probably gave him advice and recommended he turn himself in. It just does not look good. We will all see how it plays out I'm sure it will be a short trial..........

Lets just put ourselves in the situation. Say your out on the water cruising and you had a few beers.(We've all done this!) YOu hit some wreckage or maybe bumped into a dock or something. What would you do? YOu had a few beers, You did't actually hurt anyone or know of any injuries you caused. What would you do? Although we all act like we would do the right thing, most people would get the boat off the water and not report debris or damage to the dock/ boat or whatever they hit in fear that they would get the DUI. In the above scenario it's not that we don't want to be responsible and pay for what we damaged but trying to avoid a DUI ruining your life.
Not that I think this is necessarily what happened but I think it would be easy to convey this to a jury causing the doubt needed by the defense.

One other thing all you legal eagles could answer for me is if in fact both parties were drunk or drinking and both on plane and hit each other. Let's say both parties were on scene and no one left the scene. Would anyone of the parties be more responsible for the injuries or wreck?
