I have a saying I like to use. Everyone makes mistakes, or fails to deliver at some time. It's what you do to correct these mistakes, that defines you as a person, or business.
I have nothing against statement, or knowledge about any issues with their boats or company, the above is just a general statement that applies to all companies, including my own. |

pretty chitty when you can't plan your boat trips or season when you have no idea when you're getting the boat you ordered over a yr ago or let alone getting the boat and wondering if you're going to make it on the poker run or trip you planned that costs thousands to do
As far as delivery time goes....I can't comment. I thought most were on time as planned and appearntly some arnt. Not my place to speak. As far as running in a poker run. This was their first 1350 boat rigged. Something went went wrong in the miami/keys run and I don't know what. However the boat was back out at the Tampa run with ZERO issues and ran Fri, sat, and sunday. I don't think the issue in the miami/keys trip will be an issue again. |

When I was on the boat checking it out in Islamorada, the owner of statement walked right by us and totally ignored the owner. maybe because he saw the T top lights hanging down or the cushions on the floor that fell off ? I felt bad for the new boat owner. Very sad and disappointing that he got ignored by them all weekend. He said boat has been back to the factory numerous times and never got fixed. That's just bad business...

I don't think the issue in the miami/keys trip will be an issue again. It was a part failure. The boat didn't have a lot of shakedown time either- they're still dialing it in and to my knowledge the owners are quite happy with it. I can't speak to delivery issues- but, I can say that my last trip to the factory floor was a couple weeks ago and it was wall-to-wall slammed with new work. Just what I saw. Knowing that crew like I do, my guess is growing pains. They are great people who build fine boats. |

It probably will be Crimson and Cream! Thats my guess anyway.
SomeDay!! |
Supposedly in paint 3 weeks but no one has ever seen it to this date

If they've got so much business and orders why don't they just refund back the money. Sounds like they've got a waiting list
I can only imagine how bad the Statement Shuffle is with all the titles changing hands, or not. Is that even legal? :hitfan: |

the statement cat was definitely beautiful. It is too bad it kept breaking down. I think I would choke somebody to death if I spent a million dollars and waited a year for a boat and it couldn't finish a poker run! not to mention it only ran 130 mph. I hope the statement boys get their $hit together before its too late!
I do know spending that kind of Jack can be a Effing Mess when things aren't right. How ever on another note is the Mechanical failure a reflection of Statement or the manufacturer of the Mechanical side? I understand Rigging falls on Statement. Anyways just saying it's easy to point fingers and it's not always pointing in the right direction even though you spent your money with them. Jon |

The interior was fully done but can not comment on the lower cabin as the entry way up front was shut but so were everyone else's so I didn't think anything of it. Does this cat have the same hull design as the Passion 50? We know that has put up some soild numbers. Also what are most full cabin, full pleasure cats, of sizes near this ones (50') with 1350's running? As far as the owner not happy is that their words or their words stretched? I do know the owner also owns a Statement CC that they are VERY happy with. |
The whole story makes me upset especially with Delo being such a generous guy. I hope it works out. Sorry it takes a great guy to spend big $ and be disappointed!!!
|
The cabin on the cat isn't near finished. I heard its parked until its right. I know a 48 MTI w 1350s runs north of 160 mph! Been a long time waiting with that boat. I hope for the owners sake they get it right...

Will these dirtbags have their junk at Havasu? Strutting around like they are real deep while we know the well is dry....

Sorry that post just made me chuckle. I know nothing of the situation, sucks if someone is waiting on a boat. If I wanted a center console MTI would be my choice. Back to our regular programming..... |

I'm proud to be a Statement owner. I knew going into building the boat that I wanted something different and Statement was the builder for that. It didn't happen overnight but I am very happy with Saddle Up. It was worth the wait.

I love your boat....seen it many times and everytime I am still blown away. Most recently at Feestival of speed on the trailor......BEAUTIFUL! If I had the cash I wouldn't hesitate to call them up and start a build for myself. |

Really? You would put a deposit on their boats over OL, MTI, Nor-tech, and Skater.
I wouldn't. |
