obrien 04-14-2013 09:27 PM

They are using the old spectre molds with a few updates. For the money I would go Nortech

DMLEYSER 04-14-2013 09:43 PM

Guess you never saw up close or rhode on a statement

We ordered 2 Statement CC's a month ago. A 35 and a 38 SUV. The 35 comes out of the mold today. No issues with build time what so ever.....

Not saying anything of the sorts. Just saying we ordered 2 boats and they are coming along well. Communication from Craig has been top notch!

masher44 04-15-2013 04:01 PM

Will I need an attorney if I order one?

Quinlan 04-16-2013 05:58 AM

First they have to sell his Old boat!

O wait already did that!!

masher44 04-16-2013 05:17 PM

How many other of these boats are late deliveries?

masher44 04-17-2013 07:25 PM

Sounds like another builder will bite the dust soon

LV 04-17-2013 07:52 PM

It still hasn't been delivered? WTF
Hell, the guy who bought rockstar from statment has already rebuilt that boat and had it in Key West LAST year.Impressive.

They just delivered the 50' cat and the quad engine CC on time. Also a fishing style with tower drive just left on time.

On top of this in this thread is a guy with 2 on order and is in good contact with them and the boats are still are still set for an on time deliverery from his words.

and both guys were *****ing up a storm in islamarada about how the boats were not totally done, BCs punchlist on the quad was a mile long (his words not mine), 50 cat was far from done, broke down, neither boat had the perf numbers they were promissed- i wouldnt have believed it if i wasnt there and talked to both owners - they still will not give a deliver date on Delos and PBC has not said a delivery date either. all builders get behind but lies and poor communication will the downfall of any company, not just a boat builder. I have been dealing with it first hand with statement - PBC is a great company and i wish them the best with this endevor and i hope that Delo get his boat and its what he was promissed and i hope statement all the best

My understanding was it was due at the 2013 Miami boat show which it made it too and close to complete.

Saw it last Sat on the water and it looked pretty complete to me out there with the owners on the boat.

Just what I know. If you know inside info then you are a step on me. Not bashing or saying anything rude. Just posting from my stand point.

alot of the hold up on this one was the owners indecisiveness on painters and schemes...the boats are magnificent. I've spent time running a couple of there center consoles. the 38 with tripple 350's and 17 passengers ran just under 70mph. great time to plane and fit and finish is awesome

fastoys 04-19-2013 08:12 PM

I was in Islamorada also....

fastoys 04-19-2013 08:19 PM

There were 2 new statement center consoles. both owners extremely upset! the one didn't even have trim switches installed! they were jumping out wires under the dash to trim the boat! the dash was a mess and things were falling apart everywhere. boat was no where near finished. the owner and crew got totally avoided by the statement crew.NOT COOL! how a boat could be delivered like that is a shame. especially after waiting a year for it. the owner and crew were all wearing MTI shirts to make a "STATEMENT". the other boat is a whole nother story...

NORTECH-ANGLER 04-19-2013 08:54 PM

I must say after going to Fort Lauderdale show twice and Miami once to buy a boat I was always attracted to statement boats. I did a lot of research and Sniffing. Each show I went to statement had a boat in the show that was always unfinished. These shows are the biggest shows in the world and I am sure very expensive to be apart of.

I can't imagine what nick was thinking to bring a boat of this caliber to the show unfinished. I purchased a nortech in Miami this year and my boat is on schedule to be completed by may 3rd. Nortech and terry has been great to work with.

I love some of the boats statement builds but to have a boat this caliber at the biggest shows in USA is crazy on nick's part to be incomplete.

The cat at Miami was hands down the coolest boat I have seen. The paint job was absolutely beautiful!

Statement will make a few adjustments and be just fine. I think they make a very nice boat but spending 300-400k on a cc you must be on your game. Buyers spending this kind of money expects things to be damn near perfect. Which is hard to do. But, spending this kind of money on a 35-40' cc is crazy.

fastoys 04-20-2013 06:44 AM

the statement cat was definitely beautiful. It is too bad it kept breaking down. I think I would choke somebody to death if I spent a million dollars and waited a year for a boat and it couldn't finish a poker run! not to mention it only ran 130 mph. I hope the statement boys get their $hit together before its too late!

Totally agree! Nothing worse then spending your hard earned money on a toy that brings you nothing but misery!

I have a 2002 Skater that cost 1/4 of that, runs 30mph faster and ran 387 miles trouble free my first time out. I'd tell them to shove that boat up their **s.

I agree with the top 1/2 of your post - I was at the Lauderdale show this last year and just shook my head in amazement on the lack of detail Statement put on display.

I disagree on the last 1/2 half. Any future statement owner's should... to quote my attorney 'Govern themselves accordingly'.

LV 04-20-2013 10:34 AM

Should have bought a Cig Delo!
