I saw it sitting on a trailer in the middle of the launch ramp in Newport once. No truck hooked up to it or anything, just boat on trailer at top of ramp blocking the ramp. Always wondered what the story of that was.

It has been speculated that it was a boat owned by Dennis Rodman, but that Rodman was not operating it at the time and Rodman was even deposed in a lawsuit over the incident that also had pier 121 marina also as a defendant
the driver of the boat was said to be tall and muscular with longer hair and with a female with longer hair as a passenger as well so really that would leave Rodman out because of the "longer hair" and it was implied the driver was a tan white male
if you google Dennis Rodman boat accident you can get all the rumors ect......most people do seem to say that the boat Rodman owned was frequently seen before and never seen after the incident, but most believe Dennis was not actually driving or on the boat at the time
many speculate the boat was buried (some speculate that an employee of Rodman Excavation was driving it) and strangely there was another case in Texas on Lake Buchanan where a person was killed and 8 years later the boat that ran them over was found buried
