Bottom line is the fountain hit 177 and nothing else has, regardless of how many passes

Even at loto they don't average it out, who ever can get their boat to hook up and make one single pass counts.

and the other boat, the OL Kilo boat that went up against it with the RaceCrafters...I wonder where that boat is
Haha, bottom fell out twice? So the biggest thing about OL is that they had a mechanical issue before a kilo and a boat not built by OL broke apart. Yet the bottom falling out of the fountain twice and needing a transom are all fine and dandy. Hilarious! Fastest boat that is SAFE FOR CONSUMER USE is Outerlimits. Fastest purpose built boat, contingent to two new bottoms and transom replacements, fountain!

So if we know now that the fountain pulled 177 with 1550 hp, what's the highest hp ever dropped in an ol and what speed

Mastercraft, might you be a Fiore fanboy, perhaps? PR person? His banker?

These kind of threads can be fun, but you're a buzzkill.

Facts is such inconvenient things, sometimes, and the facts are that Fountain ran. Well come to think of it, 'ran' is what Fiore did, too.
Well, drove.
North.
On I-95.
In a truck.
Sitting on his tucked-under tail.

He may build good boats. Dunno. But he's not much of a role model.

I liked MY earlier entrants: between them, they have a hundert podiums. 'Fast' don't matter much. 'First' matters.

kind regards,
Bob

I saw it coming....and enjoyed the spiral.

Clearly, winter has a lot of you needing to slice the shrink-wrap. Fear not.....the wet weekends are just around the corner.

Don't own one. Would love to.

Fountain is CURRENTLY the fastest. Don't care about year. Don't care about power. Don't care about egos and attitudes and soap boxes and rant and what if-s.....

Until 1 stepped v.....100 yrs old or floated yesterday beats 177, fountain is the answer to the OP's question.

Again.....for those that are slo on the uptake.....

F O U N T A I N.

The rest of the crap in this thread (albeit entertaining) is away from the reality of the answer.....to....what is the fastest stepped v?

Not the fastest stepped v in your lake.
Not who is doing what, where.
Not how well built.
Not cabin vs non.
Not who helped and who hid/ran away.
Not how much it costs.
Not who drives it.

Simply, what is the fastest stepped v?

Again....

It was fun while it lasted... Ha! Anyways, believe it or not I don't really give a hell who the fastest is, just having fun. However, there was bigger point I was trying to make..... take a read through the entire thread and notice almost NO ONE made personal attacks.... very freshening. Only two people made personal attacks towards me, one using inappropriate language. Otherwise, 7-8 pages of fun debates! Great times! Kind of makes you believe in OSO again.
